Betterteam is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to provide exceptional support to our clients through phone, email, and chat.

In this role, you'll help customers resolve questions and issues related to their Betterteam accounts, job postings, subscriptions, and billing. You'll primarily handle inbound customer inquiries while also making outbound calls to follow up on open cases, complete account verification, and ensure customer concerns are resolved promptly.

You'll work closely with our Client Verification, Quality Control, Sales, and Product teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience and help employers get the most out of Betterteam.

What You'll Do:

Handle inbound phone calls from customers regarding their Betterteam accounts, job postings, billing, and general inquiries.
Make outbound calls to follow up on support cases, resolve customer concerns, and provide account updates.
Perform phone verification for new customer accounts when required.
Respond to customer inquiries via email in a professional and timely manner.
Serve as backup support for live chat during periods of high volume.
Troubleshoot account and job posting issues while providing accurate information and solutions.
Escalate complex customer concerns to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions in our support systems.
Follow established support procedures while consistently meeting quality and productivity standards.
Collaborate with the Client Verification, Quality Control, Product, and Engineering teams to resolve customer issues and improve the overall customer experience.
Identify recurring customer concerns and provide feedback that helps improve our products, processes, and support documentation.

What We're Looking For:

An excellent communicator with strong spoken and written English skills.
Comfortable handling both inbound and outbound phone calls.
Confident assisting customers through phone, email, and live chat.
A strong problem solver who enjoys helping customers find solutions.
Able to remain calm, professional, and empathetic when handling challenging situations.
Organized and able to manage multiple customer conversations simultaneously.
Comfortable learning new software and web-based applications.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role.
Experience handling inbound and outbound calls in a BPO or customer support environment.
Experience providing email and live chat support.
Experience using Zendesk, Intercom, Google Workspace, or similar customer support platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting SaaS or online software products is an advantage.
Familiarity with online recruiting or job board platforms is a plus.

Technical Requirements:

To work from home successfully, you'll need:

A Windows PC or laptop with at least 8 GB RAM capable of running multiple browser tabs and applications simultaneously.
A stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps.
A USB headset with a clear microphone.
A quiet workspace with a reliable electricity supply.
